Brief History

Formed in 2008, Queen's Pride Project was created to organize and plan Pride Week for Queen's University in Kingston Ontario. The very first Pride Week was organized in 2006 by the Education on Queer Issues Project (EQuIP) committee. As more events were added, the queer community and their allies decided that a seperate club was needed to handle such an elaborate project. In 2013, Queen's Pride Project was renamed "Queen's Pride."
